Restaurants in North East

North East is filled with some great places to eat.  Whether you want elegant or casual, they have it all.  Here are some of our favorites:

The Port House Grill

The Port House is a beautiful, casual restaurant that serves delicious food with fresh, local ingredients.  Enjoy the casual indoor counter service or the tented patio dining out back.  They have the BEST crab cakes and milkshakes in town.  They also serve beer and wine.  This is a don't miss location.

Woody's Crab House

Woody's Crab House is such a consistently good casual seafood restaurant.  Eat at wooden tables and enjoy cracking peanuts while you are waiting for your order.  This place fills up fast, so it can't hurt to make a reservation.  Note: If you are ordering crabs, you MUST reserve them ahead of time because they will run out.

Steak & Maine

Featured on the Food Network's "Man vs. Food", this restaurant know its steak!  It also has fabulous seafood and a more adult atmosphere.  There is deck seating or indoor seating available.  Great place to sit down for a bite after a day of shopping in the historic North East!

Pier 1 Restaurant

This is a family-friendly casual dining experience with a diner feel.  We love to enjoy brunch out on the deck at Pier 1.  Their breakfast food  is great!

unWined

This is a place to go for a good meal, or to spend an evening.  unWined is a family owned and operated local business.  This is a restaurant, bar and wine shop.

The Wellwood

While not officially in North East, this Charlestown restaurant has great food and great atmosphere.  In the summer you can eat crab outdoors next to the marina.  In the off-season, they have a casual and more formal dining room for meal.
